CAN YOU SAY BUSY?

Hi everyone, sorry I have been missing for a few week, but we have been so busy here!  As you all know we have some guests move in for about 6 months and it is a big change for us emptynesters and a big change for the poor doggies!  There is no such thing as quiet time!

We have baby furniture again...we haven't had any in this house for years, since our youngest is going to be 20.

The doggies spend there time under or around the table 3 times a day since my grandson thinks its funny to drop food, so now the doggies are banned from the dining room until after meal time, otherwise I will have some pretty fat, unhealthy dogs in 6 months!  That's pretty much all for now, gotta run!  Theres always so much to do when you have kids and dogs in the same house.

Papa is such a good bedtime story teller

NOT SO EMPTYNEST ANYMORE

We had this great life after the 5 kids moved out.  After years of raising children, there was some ME time and I could come and go as I pleased.  I got a few doggies (OK, six ), the kids and grand kids would visit and go home...I just gotta say again it was great!  But to make along story short.....we have kids again.

My daughter, her husband and 2 children (and cat) needed a place to stay for 6 months while they wait on there new house and while it may take a little getting used too,( it could be a long 6 months, or a short 6 months) I'm sure we will have great memories, (once its over).

The dogs already got the baby figured out!  They know if they wait long enough she will drop something.  Id be scared if I seen 5 dogs surround my chair while I was eating!

Playtime for the doggies is all day now

And the pups have to share there chair and there daddy!

So yes, we will all be adjusting (and the poor cat will have to get used to dogs chasing her) and gramma will have to give up her FREE time for now, but for these cute faces I would give up anything!(except the hubby or the doggies, or the other kids)

MEETING THE NEW BABY

We all finally got to meet the new baby, Olivia.  It was so awesome to lick and sniff her but mom had to keep us from getting to close...we were just so excited!
Mom held her first and let me look at her from a distance

Then dad held her, but had to keep Sophia from licking her to pieces.  Sophia just loves baby's!

Theres Sophia again, hogging the baby!

Oh no, she has to go home now...and theres Sophia again!

Rudy had a big smile on his face, cause he got to say good bye.

What a great visit!

GOOD MORNING!

We were so lucky to have a sleepover again with our two favorite girls( actually we have 4 favorite girls, but Sundai rose ad Olivia Lynn are to young to play with )  Our most favorite thing to do in the morning is give alot of kisses and try to share there breakfast( mom says "no" to that )
Good morning Ava!

Alexa says she loves me too!

Come on let me lick your face.

Could I have just a little taste? ( Good thing mom doesn't see me begging!)

Here's our new baby Olivia, we cant wait tell she has a sleepover too!

This is Sundai Rose, she is 2 months old already!

As you can see, we are pretty lucky to have alot of little faces and hands to lick, and a lot of little people to play with...anybody wanna play in the sandbox?

THE BEST LOVE IS CAVALIER LOVE

As everyone already knows we have 6 dogs, yes 6!  They can be as challenging to raise as children and yes we did have some of those too, 5 to be exact.  The children have left the nest and are having children of there own(there will be 9 grandchildren soon).  I wasn't lonely, not sure how we ended up with six dogs, but I can say that I am probably busier now, but Love it.

Unlike children, especially teenagers, my dogs are always glad to see me and everyone else who walks in the house for that matter.  The dogs never have to be told to go to bed and stay there or have to be woke up in the morning more then once.  They always eat there breakfast without any back talk.

Yes, they are alot of work, and my doggies do squabble like kids sometimes, especially the brother and sister pair, but it is so much more easier to tell there to quit and behave then children.  Dogs aim to please, children aim to drive you as crazy as they can!

The dogs love baby's, and young children and give out alot of kisses and licks to them.  They wont hesitate to curl up by a sleeping baby and growl if one of the other dogs come near, as if they are protecting them.

Don't even try coming over here!
My doggies have all these little people to play with
All the "fur baby's"
So, If you plan on getting a dog, it is true what they say,  Dog ARE like potato chips, you cant have just one!

THE UGLY TRUTH

So the saying, do on to others, that you would have done to you, is such a lame saying. Most people now adays are takers and if there isn't anything in it for them, why give back.  Its a sad, sad world we live in!  My children were raised to lend a helping hand when they could and look out for there fellow man. Sure, every now and again your hand will be slapped but at least they could walk away feeling good about themselves.

Selfish, self centered people should have to spend there lives with there own kind only.  Those are the people who get no satisfaction out of what they do in there own lives, but get great satisfaction out of talking about others and feel jealous about any success they have.  Those are the people who have burned all there bridges in there own families and good friends lives, that they will start going to church.  They say they want to live a better life, but its only so they can make new friends who think they are decent people and don't know what they have done.

Who would think badly of "church goers".  The self centered selfish person would,  but there new church friends don't no there past, so they feel safe in there pretend world.  I do not attend church, too many hypocrites there.  I believe in karma, what goes around comes around.  I can read a person the first time I meet them.  I can tell if a person is truly nice, truly evil or just weird.

Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly is to the bone describes the selfish person who doesn't even like them selves much less other people.  There negativity starts to effect every aspect of there lives and the people around them.  They lie but feel good about it, and they try to convince everyone its true, and feel good about it and they destroy family relationships and feel good about it, but they are still human, so how good do they really feel?

Bit by bit it will eat a hole threw your soul, you will end up bitter and you will be alone, maybe not physically, but mentally.  So always be helpful, always be happy about others success, don't always think of yourself and always be HONEST!
