AN AWESOME SLEEPOVER

Hi, my name is Sophia and I am the only girl, besides my mom in a family of 6 dogs and a mom and dad.  I do have human brothers and sisters too, but they don't live here no more.

My human cousins Ava and Alexa came for a sleepover this week and we always have so much fun!  I especially like watching cartoons with Alexa in the morning.

Here we are watching Dora the explorer

I love hugs!

Alexa is telling me all about the cartoon we are watching and as you noticed I'm sure a good listener.

Here's my two pesty brothers bugging Alexa

Oh no, I better go get mom !

So I tattled on my brothers and mom made them get down....So here we are again, watching cartoons:)

THE BROWN...IS NOW WHITE!

So much for waiting for spring to arrive...I have been counting the days to spending hours outside gardening with the dogs (they will of course be chewing there bones) and the awesome smell of spring in the air.  Well...for some reason, the weatherman never told us that this is what we would wake up to this morning!

All this used to be brown and I kinda liked the color.  It is also going to be cold this weekend so no chance of this melting right away.  I guess we will have to wait until next week when it gets back to the upper 30s.   And what does Rudy think of this weather.........................................................

Check out my gardening blog and you can get a look at my plants that are waiting for spring too!

OUR FIRST VISIT WITH SUNDAI ROSE

We had our first sniff of Sundai Rose and we were pretty excited!  Is there anything better then the smell of a new baby....well maybe a stinky bone that's been laying outside for months.

That's our human brother Ricky with his baby, Sundai Rose

We got to have a little peek , but weren't allowed to close

But Dad let Rudy have a closer sniff
We all cant wait to play with her when shes bigger and lick her all up!

SUPERBOWL WITH THE DOGGIES

As most of you know by now we are avid Green Bay Packer fans and of course we do bleed green and gold (especially after they got spanked in the playoffs, to put it mildly).  We aren't doing anything special this year for the super bowl except watch and eat good food.  Last year we did a video with our guests, who were mostly our doggies, so for those of you who have never seen doggies truly enjoy the super bowl, I hope you enjoy this!

All the doggie jerseys were hand made by me, hopefully they can wear them again next year!

ITS BONE DAY

Once a month we switch our old dog bones for new raw meat dog bones.  I buy beef soup bones with bits of meat and fat on them and full of luscious bone marrow that takes days for the dogs to get it all out.  I also buy racks of beef ribs that happen to be on sale due to lack of substance(meat for humans), at least that would be my guess, and cut them into single ribs to be frozen and given to the doggies to chew in hot summer months, kinda like a meat popsicle!

Today happened to be bone day.  It is muddy from the mild winter we have been having, which I may add, I don't mind at all. The muddy mess on the floor on a continuous bases from the in and out of the dogs looking for something to do was getting monotonous, Then...I remembered the bones all nice and frozen that would keep them very happy for at least a few hour.  The hardwood floor in the dining room makes a great bone chewing area and a few hours of peace is well worth the the dirty floor!

Oh happy bone day!
This is heaven!

Yum yum yum!

I love my mom!

I think I got the biggest!

Taste great!
